Spring term events

IES Sundbyberg

The spring term is all up and running and the students have had their first Winter sports day with Ice Skating. The 5th graders have been to a classic concert at the Konserthuset and the 4th graders will be visiting Dramaten after Sportlovet.

We have started the intake process for the upcoming academic year and we plan to have 4-7th graders 2019/20. The 8-9th grades will not be open for the next school year. The intake process will proceed until all places are full. If you have any questions about the intake process please read more on our webpage or contact us directly.

End of term celebrations

Christmas IES Sundbyberg

Before we broke up for the Christmas holidays we had a great "skolavslutning". As part of the celebration we had pupils; dancing, singing, playing instruments and even a staff song!

We also gave out a small number of awards to pupils how had gone over and above, either in terms of their academic success or pupils who have demonstrated the IES ethos. Congratulation to class 4A who won "Class of the Term".

We look forward to welcoming everyone back on Wednesday and hope to build on the success of our first term at IES Sundbyberg.

Thank you for a great school term

Christmas IES Sundbyberg

Thank you for a great school term - students, staff and parents.

We started our new school in August and 4 months later I am really proud of what we have achieved. I am so impressed by our students and how quickly they have adapted and become IES students and future IES ambassadors. Our staff and teachers have done an amazing job and we see today the result of all hard work.

It has been a fantastic time and I have enjoyed coming to school every day.

The plans for the next schoolyear 2019/20 has started and during the spring we will start the recruitment of new teachers and staff as well as the intake process. The construction and expansion of the school is according to plan.

I also want to say thank you PTA - our Parent Teachers Association - your dedication and interest in our school is amazing and very valuable. You as a parent are important and the bridge between school and home.

We look forward to see you again Wednesday the 9th of January when school starts again.

Have a really nice Christmas and a Happy new Year!

Sincerely,
Ms Kinberg
