On Friday, October 26th, we celebrated Halloween here at IES Sundbyberg.

During week 43 the students worked on decorating their classroom doors for our "Halloween Door Decoration Competition". All the teachers and other staff have now placed their votes and the winners will be presented after the fall break. See the students spooky decorations below.

Planting the Apple Tree

Apple tree IES Sundbyberg

We have had two busy weeks here at IES Sundbyberg. Just in time before the cold hit the apple tree was planted in the ground along with some other plants around our school. We also received our new swings that has been put up on the schoolyard, and the new reception is finally in place.

The last week before the fall break we are taking the oportunity to celebrate both the United Nations Day and Halloween.
Please read more about this under our school blog and on SchoolSoft.

UN Day October 24th

UN Day

Today we celebrate the United Nations Day at IES Sundbyberg.

We asked students to decorate the classrooms with flags from the country that they call home. They turned out amazing!

Ms Larsson arranged a "Tipsrunda" (quiz walk) about the UN for the students to do during breaks. The winner will be announced on Friday.

We also decorated our new reception area with the Global Goals.

World Teachers' Day!

Världslärardagen

World Teachers' Day

The 5th of October is the International Teachers' Day and we surprised all our teachers with flowers made by ms Uhlén and a big applaud. The applaud is part of the Guiness World Record to be the biggest applaud in the world initiated by Bonnier Education.

Thank you for being teachers and thank you for being teachers at IES Sundbyberg!

Thank you

Thank you

Dear,

Thank you for all support and engagement during the startup.

The school has started and we are up and running according to schedule.

I am very proud of all our students - they are adapting to new routines quickly and help out when needed.

The development of the school is also progressing and every week we see new things being installed. This week the flagposts and the fence in the stairs to the entrance got installed. Step by step the school is being completed! A wonderful journey to be part of. Welcome to have a look when you pass by!
