During week 10, our students celebrated World Book Day (Thursday 5th March) in multiple ways! Lots of activities were available in the library: resolving crosswords, designing bookmarks or book covers, writing your own story, coloring book drawings or joining the book scavenger hunt! By participating in one of them, students can win beautiful world book day badges! Here enjoy some pictures celebrating the love of books and reading!
On Thursday, week 43, our students in grade 6 hosted a Language expo in our Aula. The event was created to shed light on some of the many different languages that are spoken among students and staff here at IES Sundbyberg. The expo was focused on the English, Swedish, French, German and Spanish. The venue was beautifully decorated with various things that represent the countries chosen where the languages are spoken.

Order, structure and safety are necessary prerequisites for learning.
Children should learn to command the English language, not just know it, at an early age.
Our conviction is that every child can achieve success irrespective of social background.
